Since its successful launch on 2 June 2003, the Kuala Lumpur Business Club (KLBC) has held public and private activities to further its objectives.

Luncheon briefing by journalists Shahanaaz Habib from The Star and Syed Nadzri from The New Straits Times on the impact of the Tsunami which hit Asian shores on 26 December 2004. KLBC also donated RM100,000 to the Mercy Humanitarian Fund.

- Dinner invitation by Ms. Ho Ching, Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Temasek Holdings (Pte) Ltd followed by an informal discussion led by YB Dato' Sri Dr Jamaluddin;
- Breakfast discussion with Mr. Koh Boon Hwee, Chairman of Singapore Airlines, Director of Temasek Holdings (Pte) Ltd and Chairman of Harvard Club; and
- Courtesy call on Dr. Tony Tan, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore.
